Once again, I am confused. At 65, I guess I rate a few more days of confusion then you younger folks but it just seems to me that it is becoming more and more difficult to keep up with all the meetings and cancellations then it used to be. For example, the WVBIC had a bio fuels meeting set for Feb 12th from 10am to 12pm at one point in the planning year. I found the announcement that Barbara Bessey had put out only after Bob Warren our regional economic development coordinator mentioned that he was going to be at LBCC on the 12th for a biofuels meeting and didn't I know about it. I checked with several people who should have known if there was going to be a meeting. I was assured that no one knew of the meeting but that maybe it was something that Barbara was coordinating. I checked my bioscience history file from the WVBIC and discovered the bulletin announcing it. I immediately responded to those I checked with including Bob Warren advising they I would be there prior to the algae meeting the BEC was hosting that same day from 1pm to 4pm. Still confused why it wasn't on my planning calendar and "radar" I followed all the messages including the report from the January 15th meeting of the WVBIC where it was reported that the biofuels meeting previously scheduled was "pushed out" to a later date. Again, I responded to the "crew" saying, oops excuse me, the meeting looks like it has been rescheduled. So, once again I am at a loss but then again, I am 65! Is the new WVBIC web site up yet? I was told one of the big reasons that this NING site wasn't acceptable was the issue of security and we couldn't just run an open site. Excuse me, but I think my confusion might be lessened if we had a responsive site for posting. Hmmmm again I might just be to darn old to worry about it.
