First, thanks to Bill for creating this site as an interim means for us to stay in touch. I sincerely appreciate your efforts to use the latest technology to connect us. Untimately, I expect WVBIC will have it's own website where members can post job openings and enroll in upcoming training events, etc., but for now, this is a great vehicle. Again our thanks.
Next my apology to you, Bill, for mis-stating the structure of the BEC. I've fixed it in both the minutes and my log of attendees so you'll be listed as a private non-profit from here forward. It was just my error - - - I made a guess as to your status and I was wrong.
The next meeting HAS BEEN SCHEDULED for May 28th in the Fireside Room at Linn-Benton Community College in Albany. The Bank of the Cascades has generously offered to sponsor lunch and the tentative agenda includes a discussion of the charter, identification of the 1-2 tangibles we want to achieve in the first six months and a discussion of the membership options and structure. A finalized agenda and invitation will be sent early next week via email directly to all those on my current distribution list. I'll also post it on this site.
As always, please call me at (541)917-4935 to ensure you get added to the official membership roster if you're new or if you want a contact list for current members. I'll also check this site regularly and contact anyone who joins to be sure you're getting the latest information.
Below are the minutes from the Exploratory meeting held on April 3rd. Please feel free to comment with ideas, questions, clarifications, etc. It's my pleasure to serve as coordinator to this exciting new consortium.
