Next Bio Science effort mid valley by Bill and the BEC

Well, I am at it again or at least trying to be. I believe that the RIB is willing to support a funded effort to help kick off some bio science wet lab space at the BEC on a very limited basis. I am going to propose a short term effort consisting of a limited wet lab being created at 1965 SW Airport Ave to see if we can recruit our first bioscience company and then do two IMPLAN's looking for the science base for the emerging cluster that provides region 4 ( Lane, Linn, Lincoln and Benton) the biggest bang for their buck. I have a little interest and support from the mayor of Corvallis and the Chair of the Board of Commissioners in Benton County. I think these cooperative and collaborative efforts make the most sense. Just trying to make a difference by pushing the buttons toward sustainability.
